1. What ages do you work with?
Music & Media Arts offers learning opportunities for children, teens and adults. The best program or learning format may vary depending on the student’s age, interests, experience and goals.
2. Do I need previous experience?
No. Beginners are welcome. We also work with students who already have experience and want to strengthen their skills, expand their musicianship or explore new creative areas.
3. What instruments do you teach?
Current music instruction includes piano, keyboard, saxophone, brass and woodwind instruments.
If you’re interested in a particular instrument and aren’t sure whether it’s currently available, contact us and we’ll let you know.
4. What styles of music do you teach?
Our approach can incorporate jazz, gospel, R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, funk and other musical styles while helping students develop strong fundamentals in technique and musicianship.
The goal isn’t simply to learn songs. Students are encouraged to understand the music they’re playing and develop skills they can continue using creatively.
5. Do you offer music production training?
Yes. Music production learning can include areas such as beatmaking, recording, songwriting, arranging, DAW workflow, mixing and production fundamentals.
The specific areas covered will depend on the student’s experience, interests and program.
6. What is Media Arts?
Media Arts focuses on developing creative and practical skills using audio, video, photography and digital media.
Depending on the class, workshop or program, students may explore video production, photography, recording, editing, content creation and digital storytelling.
7. Are lessons private or group-based?
Music & Media Arts can offer different learning formats depending on the program, including private instruction, group learning, workshops and special programs.
We’ll help you determine which available format best fits your interests and goals.
8. Do students need their own instrument or equipment?
It depends on the program.
Some equipment is available for hands-on learning in the Music & Media Arts studio. For ongoing practice outside of sessions, students may need access to their own instrument or certain equipment.
We’ll let you know what’s recommended or required before you begin.

Music & Media Arts is located in Jesup, Georgia, serving students and creators throughout Southeast Georgia.
I’d stop there publicly unless you specifically want people arriving at the studio without an appointment.
11. Do you offer workshops or short-term programs?
Yes. Music & Media Arts may offer workshops, group classes, special programs and other creative learning experiences throughout the year.
Topics can vary across music, production and media arts.
